oh man!
new music in the form of Yeasayer’s Ambling Alp, which, though a single, also happens to be a preview of their upcoming February album. You can listen to the track at the above link. As a few of you know, I happened to see Yeasayer at Pitchfork this last July, and they were amazingamazingamazing in person. Even more so than over some crappy laptop speakers (obviously). The point is, I love this band.
I also happen to love the lovely and wonderful Spoon, who apparently are putting out yet another album (titled Transference) also, on January 26. It’s like they’re giving me an album for my birthday! But not reeeeeaaaalllllly. THE POINT IS: Yay new albums! Peruse their track listing at Pitchfork Media’s site. Boy do I look forward to the coming year of 2010 and its music. <3
