for the first time ever, i’m committing to nanowrimo, thanks to encouragement from various friends. today’s count so far (took me roughly an hour) is 2100 words. i am proud of this. i am also proud of the slightly decent way it’s turning out. i guess the story’s just gonna sort itself out. i know so many people who are writing novels this month! some of them are my friends molly, eliza, alan, steve, john, lora, and of course my favorite boy on the planet, joseph.
